The Iowa Homeless Youth Centers (IHYC) is a program of YSS (Youth & Shelter Services, Inc.). Their mission is to provide immediate and long-term support to homeless youth and young mothers in the community. They offer a comprehensive range of services, including emergency beds, transitional living programs, street outreach, support services, parenting education, and life skills training. Their aim is to help these young individuals and families work towards self-sufficiency and stability. The center believes that every young person deserves a safe place to stay, and they are dedicated to making that reality possible for homeless youth in Iowa.
