There Are Currently 501 Units Available Under Management by the Chatham County Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Chatham County Housing Authority Serves the Siler City, Metropolitan Area.
The Housing Authority oversees federal funds to help qualified low-income residents with their rental payments. The authority also works with some families in the rental subsidy program to develop a five-year plans to become self-sufficient and help others in the program become homeowners through subsidized mortgages.
