There Are Currently 290 Units Available Under Management by the Ruston City. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Ruston City Serves the Ruston, Metropolitan Area.

The mission statement of the City of Ruston Section 8 Housing Program is to provide safe, decent and sanitary housing conditions for low, very low-income, and extremely low-income families as well as to manage resources efficiently. The Public Housing Agency (PHA) is to promote personal, economic, and social upward mobility to provide families the opportunity to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing.
