There Are Currently 489 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of the City of Carrollton. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of the City of Carrollton Serves the Carrollton, Metropolitan Area.

The Housing Authority of the City of Carrollton (CHA) is dedicated to providing affordable housing for individuals with very low, low, and moderate incomes. We achieve this by effectively managing public funds and forming partnerships with our residents and others to improve the quality of life in our community. Established in 1950, CHA is incorporated under the laws of Georgia and operates under the guidance of a five-member Board of Commissioners appointed by the Mayor of Carrollton. We currently oversee and manage 231 income-based housing units located in five developments throughout Carrollton, Georgia. Additionally, CHA is responsible for the administration of various housing voucher programs, including 163 Section 8 Vouchers, 30 HUD-VASH Vouchers, and 11 Family Unification Program vouchers. These programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
