There Are Currently 46 Units Available Under Management by the Wethersfield Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Wethersfield Housing Authority Serves the Wethersfield, Metropolitan Area.

The Wethersfield Housing Authority administers State, Federal and local housing programs for income eligible individuals, families, those aged 62 and up and adults who are 100% disabled. The authority operates three elderly housing communities and two family housing communities in town. Rents are based on a percentage of income, or base rent, whichever is higher. In addition, the Wethersfield Housing Authority administers the Federal Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, where income eligible persons are provided financial assistance and choose where they want to live in Wethersfield.
