There Are Currently 35 Units Available Under Management by the South Windsor Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the South Windsor Housing Authority Serves the South Windsor, Metropolitan Area.

The State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development established the Housing Authority in 1968. Presently, the Housing Authority offers housing in two complexes, consisting of a total of 70 individual units. These accommodations are specifically designated for individuals aged 62 and above, as well as disabled individuals who meet specific criteria. Additionally, there are plans underway to construct a congregate housing complex comprising 40 units. Conveniently, all the complexes are located within a short driving distance from grocery and retail shopping areas. To further assist our residents, the Department of Human Services offers transportation services.
