There Are Currently 492 Units Available Under Management by the Walker County Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Walker County Housing Authority Serves the Dora, Metropolitan Area.
The Mission of the Housing Authority of Walker County is to provide the necessary number of affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary dwelling units within its jurisdiction; to administer, professionally and accurately, the programs authorized by the Board of Commissioners and Congress; and to professionally maintain the property that has been developed throughout its intended useful life.
The Project Has 27 Total Buildings. The Units Consists Of Both Public Housing And Section 8 Apartment Units.
