These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the South Central Alabama Regional Housing Authority Serves the Troy, Metropolitan Area.
Incorporated in 1970, South Central Alabama Regional Housing Authority provides safe and sanitary housing for qualified, low-income persons residing in the South Central Alabama area. The Housing Authority is a public corporation duly organized and validly existing under the provisions of the Code of Alabama 1975, Title 24, CH 1, Article 3 governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners, each appointed to their position.
