Maryland Affordable Housing consists of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-Income properties. These properties include affordable single family homes, townhouses, and apartments. Maryland and HUD have made affordable housing a priority by allocating housing vouchers, rental assistance, homelessness resources and more to help make housing security a reality for individuals and families. Currently there are total 1350 Section 8 Approved units in Maryland.
