There Are Currently 128 Units Available Under Management by the Lacrosse County Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Lacrosse County Housing Authority Serves the La Crosse, Metropolitan Area.
Since 1977, La Crosse County Housing Authority (LCHA) has been providing rental units for families with limited incomes. In 166 manor apartments and 78 duplex apartments, rents are based on adjusted gross income. Twenty-six senior and twenty-four family units are at an established rental rate. Our units are located in Holmen, Onalaska, West Salem, Bangor, Mindoro and on French Island.
