There Are Currently 120 Units Available Under Management by the Portland Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Portland Housing Authority Serves the Portland, Metropolitan Area.
Established in 1966, the Portland Housing Authority (PHA) originated its services in the City of Portland, Tennessee and expanded to serve the City of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee in 1969. Our primary goal is to offer public housing support to individuals and families with limited income, providing them with secure and reasonably priced homes. By doing so, we aim to make a positive impact on their lives and enhance the communities we operate in. Currently, the PHA oversees a total of 120 housing units located in Macon and Sumner County. These units are distributed between 90 in Portland, Tennessee and 30 in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee.
The Project Has 82 Total Buildings. The Units Consists Of Both Public Housing And Section 8 Apartment Units.
