There Are Currently 477 Units Available Under Management by the Hunterdon County Division of Housing. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Hunterdon County Division of Housing Serves the Flemington, Metropolitan Area.
In 1977 the Board of Chosen Freeholders established the Hunterdon County Department of Public Housing. Now known as the Division of Housing, the office operates under the oversight of the Hunterdon County Department of Human Services. The Division of Housing is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to administer the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
