There Are Currently 772 Units Available Under Management by the Mid-east Regional Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Mid-east Regional Housing Authority Serves the Greenville, Metropolitan Area.
Established in 1969, the Mid-East Regional Housing Authority provides low income rental housing and rental assistance to more than 950 people in seven counties in eastern North Carolina. It is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners that are appointed by the County Commissioners from each county. The Mid-East Regional Housing Authority Board’s goal is to assure that the organization’s mission and purpose is being accomplished and ensure that decent, safe and sanitary housing is provided to the residents.
