There Are Currently 92 Units Available Under Management by the Saint Clair Housing Commission. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Saint Clair Housing Commission Serves the St Clair, Metropolitan Area.

The St. Clair Housing Commission operates two programs from their office. The first program is focused on providing affordable housing for low-income seniors. In 1969, they built a three-story high-rise called "Palmer Park Manor." The complex has a conveniently located elevator in the center for easy access to all floors. On the second floor, there is a laundry facility equipped with three coin-operated washers and dryers. Palmer Park Manor consists of 60 one-bedroom apartments and 2 two-bedroom apartments. The one-bedroom apartments are approximately 550 square feet and feature a combination living room and kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom. The two-bedroom apartments are around 1100 square feet in size. Rent includes all utilities such as heat, electricity, and water/sewer. The St. Clair Housing Commission also provides electric stoves and refrigerators, both of which were newly installed in 2011.
