There Are Currently 722 Units Available Under Management by the Gloucester Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Gloucester Housing Authority Serves the Gloucester, Metropolitan Area.
The Gloucester Housing Authority was formed in 1948 and is proud of its long history of promoting and providing adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity and a suitable living environment free of discrimination. Under the strong leadership of our 5 member Board of Commissioners we currently assist over 1300 households in the Cape Ann area through our Public Housing, Rental Assistance, Homeownership and Resident Service programs.
