There Are Currently 380 Units Available Under Management by the Wytheville Redev. & Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Wytheville Redev. & Housing Authority Serves the Wytheville, Metropolitan Area.
The Wytheville Redevelopment and Housing (WRHA) was created in 1968 to provide affordable housing to low-income families through the Public Housing program in Wytheville, Virginia. In 1983 more public housing was developed and since 1999 the Agency has more than doubled its affordable housing through various programs including the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV), Project Based Voucher Program (PBV), Mainstream Vouchers and Tax Credits to develop new, affordable apartments throughout the Town.
