These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Hopewell Redevelopment & Housing Authority Serves the Hopewell, Metropolitan Area.
The Hopewell Redevelopment and Housing Authority was established in 1939. Our governing body is a seven – member Board of Commissioners appointed by City Council. Funding is secured through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and rental income.
