There Are Currently 496 Units Available Under Management by the Saratoga Springs Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Saratoga Springs Housing Authority Serves the Saratoga Springs, Metropolitan Area.

At the SSHA, our mission is to provide safe and decent housing for a variety of individuals and families in need. This includes elderly families, persons with disabilities on fixed incomes, and working families who are striving towards self-sufficiency. We also manage programs such as the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program and the Veteran’s Affairs Supported Housing (VASH) Programs. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to meet the needs of our families and to support the community in achieving its long-term affordable housing goals. In 2020, we embarked on the development of two new affordable housing projects. The Promenade is a 63-unit project consisting of a 4-story building with 1- and 2-bedroom apartments located behind the Stonequist Apartments. Additionally, three townhouse style buildings with 1, 2-, and 3-bedroom units have been constructed facing West Circular Street. The second project, known as the SRDI Project, consists of two twelve-unit buildings situated within the grounds of our Terrace properties. These projects are funded by the state, and information on eligibility can be found on our website. We recognize the need for extensive rehabilitation of our existing public housing units and are actively seeking funding to address this issue. In total, the SSHA will provide assisted housing for over 500 families in the city of Saratoga Springs.
