There Are Currently 763 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of Long Beach. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of Long Beach Serves the Long Beach, Metropolitan Area.
Currently, the Long Beach Housing Authority oversees four apartment complexes catering to seniors and adults with disabilities. These complexes include the Michael Valenti, Morton Cohen, Sonny Duckman, and Sol Scher buildings, which together house a total of 264 units that receive federal assistance from HUD. Additionally, the Long Beach Housing Authority manages 108 housing units for low-income families who meet the eligibility criteria, as well as 398 housing choice vouchers under the Section 8 program.
