There Are Currently 485 Units Available Under Management by the Columbus County Public Housing Agency. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Columbus County Public Housing Agency Serves the Whiteville, Metropolitan Area.
The Columbus County PHA’s mission is to provide safe, decent and sanitary housing conditions for very low-income families and to manage resources efficiently. The PHA is to promote personal, economic and social upward mobility to provide families the opportunity to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing.
