Morganton housing authority is a federally funded non-profit organization, incorporated in 1964. In june 2004 we were honored with high performer for the first time in our 40 years of service. We have a (7) member board of commissioners. The mha commissioners are appointed by the mayor of the city of morganton . We currently manage 250 public housing apartments and 30 section 8 apartments. We provide safe, sanitary, affordable housing for low income families. We support self sufficient attitudes that encourage our tenants to excel at their highest potential.
