The establishment of the Housing Authority of Pulaski took place in 1946, but it wasn't until 1963 that an official Executive Director was appointed. Subsequently, plans were implemented for the development of Karnak, Mound City, and Mounds, with Ullin being added later. By 1967, a total of 134 units had been occupied.
